book- Jamie walks down the aisle in a wheelchair
movie- walks down the aisle not in a wheel chair
( at her wedding)

both- she has leukemia

book-jamie and landon go to the orphanage
movie- does not mention it

both- both involve the play scene

book- jamie and landon go to the dance togther, jamie wears a skirt and her favorite sweater.
movie- does not mention it

I don't know the difference but the movie made me cry it was sucha nice movie
