Thanksgiving is a day to give thanks for all the wonderful things that you have in life.. I know allot of people say you should be thankful all the time, but for some it just takes a special day. I;m grateful for my family, friends, church, and the free don to be able to do what ever I feel like doing. Thanksgiving is a day when you should remember the past and ponder the days to come no matter what you believe. Everyone has something to be thankful for.

I am very grateful for all that I have been blessed with. I celebrate my life everyday. Having my small but growing family over once a year is an added bonus and we just enjoy each others company and truly appreciate all that we have. I don't need one day set aside for us as a family but non the less, I can and will celebrate Thanksgiving because of what it stands for.

Thanksgiving is a huge pain! Usually, we're expected to socialize w/relatives and/or friends we havent seen all year, make a huge dinner for them, or drive long distances in horrible traffic. I prefer to be thankful on a DAILY basis for the good things in my life: my immediate family, friends, my hobbies, talents and other things. I don't need a holiday to tell me when to do this! The same goes for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas, and so on! Why do people obey the traditions and marketing ploys like slaves?!

I'm thankful for all good fortunes and mainly thankful for that I live to see another day. So many perils in the world, I think it should be Thanksgiving everyday.

I love all the great food, but more than that I love the quality time with my family! It is a fun day to just relax and enjoy each others company. We usually go around the table and list one thing we are thankful for, it's neat to hear all the different responses.

My family all coming together at Thanksgiving is wonderful! My folks are getting older, and I am most thankful to God that they are still with us.

Thanksgiving to me is about family. I know it sounds corny, but its true. I have family I only see a few times a year or only on holidays, so to me I just love spending time with them.

Thanksgiving is a terrible holiday, because the white man took over an entire nations original people's heritage, family, beliefs and values and thanksgiving is a "holiday" i don't think so look at it this way if some guys came to your house and took ALL your possessions and killed your entire family and sent you away to a boarding school to have "christian" beliefs shoved down your throat and forcing you to conform to the ehite man's beliefs......thanksgiving......what's to celebrate the entire loss of a culture? i don't think so......there's nothing to be thankful for!
