You are just 17. Therefore once the pregnancy is confirmed, you must try telling them at the earliest, notwithstanding their differing views about it (if any). You must use their advise which shall be genuine and coming from experience of age and maturity.

I agree, wait until after 8 weeks. Actually, i wouldnt tell anyone until you are at least 8 weeks; when you are more in the clear. Unfortunately miscarriage is very common and NOT TO SAY this would happen to you.. becuase you will have a beautiful and healthy baby... but its hard enough to miscarry and then when everyone knew that you were pregnant; to have to explain it to everyone is heartbreaking all over again.

When they are extremely mad at you about something else is the perfect time. That way they will forget all about what you did wrong or didn't do that made them angry with you in the first place. Because they are going to be angry, no doubt.. but I certainly wouldnt bring it up during a joyous event. And this is assuming that you are a teenager, not married, and knocked up by some idiot boy at school who impregnated you in the back of his dad's 64 Edsel.

i told my parents as soon as i found out!...... i was too excited not too!
my mother was in hospital with a brain tumour when i went to visit her and tell her. she was soo happy she told all the nurses and even other patients families she was going to be a grandma for the 2nd time! ( my sis had the 1st grandbaby)
she passed away 1 week after i showed her my first ultrasound photo :(...
but i think anytime you feel ready to tell them would be best time..
chances are when your more comfortable and happy about telling them they will be more excited too!
good luck

I had to read some of your other questions to find out your age. HAvinga way to support a child and having a husband are a great start for becoming a mother. Too late now. Tell your parents now so they can get ready to raise your child

As soon as you can! And preferably, with the baby's father there to tell them with you. I wish you the best of luck... and I really hope you will finish school!

Just wait a little while, your mother will notice. If you are underage, or not married, tell them before they find out on their own. sorry

I told mine the day I found out. I would want their support if anything happened, so I didn't wait.
