They're not the sort to brag, really. They just do the job.
I mean, who even knows that they are rapidly moving our nation away from petroleum dependence, focusing on geothermal energy, hydrogen, BioDiesel, wind, solar... nobody. They don't brag enough.
If history were accurately reported, Bush would be the 'greenest' President in history so far, moving us rapidly to clean energy systems.

Which accomplishments? Social Security reform? Immigration reform? Balanced budget? Educational reform? Welfare reform? Campaign finance reform? Strengthening of our justice system? Tort reform? Congressional over site and ethics? The capture of Bin Laden?
Or should they taut their great accomplishments after Katrina and in Iraq?
There is a reason the last eight years have been dubbed the "do nothing Congress". Had the GOP have ANY accomplishments over the last five years their failure in Iraq would not have put 20 seats up for grabs.

Its hard to brag about 97 days of work and nothing to show for it except a fat little paycheck and a lot of wasted time. Gee I would like to sign up for that job.

Because doing well doesn't get you votes in today's politics. Blaming others does. That's why you see so many negative ads and so few positive ads.
And speakeasy you got the truth, but did you see any of that on the front pages of most newspapers, or on the newscasts? Me neither.

Because they are very, very bad at governinig the country. They do better when the contest is about smearing someone or criticizing liberals, and tend to not be so good a other things like making foreign policy and managing disater response.

All i have heard for the last 6 years is blathering from the left.9/11-Bush did it,Hurricanes-Bush did it,A soldier got killed today..Bush's fault.
