Why would we be mad?
By Golly The Tigers had the best season they've had in 20 years.
And considering they haven't seen .500 for 12 years and lost 119 games 3 years ago, I would think REAL Tigers would be pleased.
Yeah, they made a few errors in the World Series. That is due to lack of experience. That will change in a few years.
I am pleased as punch that The Tigers accomplished what they did this year.

Ok first of all I live in Michigan. I have lived here for 33 years. I LOVE the Tigers. They are the best. You need to remember what they did to get to the World Series. They have been on a loosing streak for years and it is wonderful to see them get this far when in all actuallity they shouldn't have. But they played their butts off all season and they are awesome. You must not be a die hard fan to still be bitter and a wonderful team that will go to to the World Series next year and WIN!!!! Be patient and proud of their accomplishment thus far.

Hey man, don't sweat the small stuff. Look at the Red Sox fans. Even when they won in '04 they still acted like morons. So you lost the series, big deal. At least you got there and Detroit had something to cheer about. Not a bad way to spend the summer and early fall.

pleased as punch? wow thats why things are different in new york.. we would never be satisfied with a series appearance like tiger fans or any other teams fans for that matter.. for two weeks we heard tiger fans rub their series win over the yankees in our faces and now that they lost badly they act like they are ok with the world series hummiliation so they dont get their faces rubbed in the dirt.. well it dont work, we know your all pissed off and im gonna rub it in your faces anyway... they couldnt even throw the ball to the infielders... they choked, choked badly to a crappy team.. look at their stats.. rodriguez.. choke... granderson choke.... inge.. choke.. monroe choke... when arod hits as bad as they do its front page news... but like i said last week when other star players do it it is forgotten on small market teams... less pressure to succeed.. chokeeeeeeee... will the tigers ever win another series since 84?

It's great that they won.Makes baseball stronger for the fans if every team wins .Be boring to have the same team over & over.NY yank fans exspect it every yr and don't mind paying the increase price in tickets and still have a loser, how boring.
GO ! White Sox

Since the Tigs beat the Yankees, I personally don't care. The Redbirds WON'T repeat for 2007. That will be going for the Yankees and/or D-backs.
