Having had 3 babies very close together, I completely understand what you're talking about. As far as the cramping goes, that is completely normal and it will not hurt the baby UNLESS the cramping you feel is actually contractions. If they are contractions, and you have 6 or more in an hour, you should go to the doctor and have them check to see if you have dilated. As far as the vaginal dryness, that is so common. I had that with my last pregnancy. I bought a product called Astroglide, which is a liquid lubrication that is safe to use in pregnancy and you can't tell the difference. BUT whatever you do, don't buy the KY Warming Liquid, it makes your vagina feel like it's on fire. Hope this helps.

If you have cramping while sex you may probably have a yeast infection..... vaginal dryness on the other hand is caused by your hormonal changes...right now all your thinking about is your baby how your labor will go and a million other thoughts about the baby...its health and everything else. Youre not "in the mood". While you are having sex you are probably thinking about the baby and worried if you are hurting him/her. Don't worry too much and relax. This is normal. I had vaginal dryness at the end of my pregnancy and for 2 months after I gave birth...But just to be on the safe side go to the doctors and get checked out. It never hurts to get checked out. Good Luck.

I actually had a prenatal visit today, I am 17 weeks and 6 days today. I had the same problem. As long as the cramping does not continue and isn't horribly painful, (just cramps, not contractions) it's normal. Orgasm makes the uterus have some contractions. It's ok. No bleeding though? If so, check with your own obstetrician. And I personally haven't had dryness, but ky is probably totally safe during pregnancy. Again, check with your doctor first. Good luck!

sex doesn't actually hurt the baby!
but maybe you could try another position during sex? i find on the side is much more comfortable. im 38 weeks along so sex isn't exactly on the menu if u know what i mean.
if you don't feel any pain after sex and you dont have any spotting or vaginal bleeding then i'm sure you are fine and your baby too he's pretty well protected in there!
i dont think i ever had vaginal dryness either but again i think thats fine also!
good luck on the pregnancy!!!!

I was told... You may feel a burning sensation and some cramping after sex. Try urinating right after sex, this can decrease the burning sensation. It will not hurt your baby. If the cramping is to severe call your Dr and they can gauge whether or not you need to come in and be checked out.
Oh yeah and some KY will help that dryness problem.

having sex while pregnant will not hurt the baby unless your Dr told you not to. Cramping is the contracing of your uterus and is completely normal. mostly it happens with climax or orgasm
As far a vaginal dryness when i was pregnant with my first I experienced it and it never went away I just invested in kyjelly. Even after i had her i had to use it to insert a tampon. my Dr told me that it is normal though not all women experience it.

I had the exact opposite if Dryness. But the cramping could be the position of the baby. If you have no spotting or pain after the intercourse, then chances are everything is fine.

Sounds normal to me. I remember cramping. Your abdomen and pelvis are going through remarkable changes.
Just use some KY and all will be fine.
Sex doesn't hurt the baby as long as you aren't writhing in pain. They are very insulated.
