Enhanced listings on Realtor.com and google ad words are your best bets on the pay side.
Craig's List is a great free classified site... just don't be a fool and advertise Iowa listings in Florida.

Statistics show that 70% of buyers use the internet to search for a home. It is defintely worth it. You should post on a site that has a lot of traffic. I always search on realtor.com.

List properties that you have for lease for FREE at www.fwaac.com. FWAAC (or Four Walls And A Ceiling) allows you to create a listing, post a picture, and have interested tenants contact you directly. Have interested persons who contact you check out your FWAAC listing for more information (that way, you won't have to create your own website)
