Actually I do think most ppl are stupid. I mean just look at the questions here about Kerry's statement.

I saw one that said something about '... Kerry's statement about military personnel...' I literally laughed at that.

Kerry didn't make a statement about military personnel. I doubt most even know what he said. He told the college students he was talking to that they needed to stay in school or they might end up stuck in Iraq.

Now, I am ex-military just like Kerry and he didn't say anything that wasn't true. Just wait for the draft to come back and you will see how true that statement was.

Also, where is the outrage that the children of the rich, the educated, the Harvard grads, the politicians are NOT serving in Iraq?

Kerry stated the truth.

Well the joke was a bit inept. Prez Kerry is generally SO articulate and thoughtful in what he says that saying something dumb for him is a headline, much unlike Dictator Dumbya. And there IS a truth behind the inept remark. In YOUR experience, how many College Republicans, or otherwise rich dudes, interrupted their march to the top of society by enlisting, particularly for combat? Kerry did. The MOST outrageous "joke" was the 2004 Dictator Dumbya video of him pretending to search for WMDs in the Oval Office, Kerry should have won all 50 states because of THAT ALONE. Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!

And how stupid do you think we are to believe you are a soldier. We only have to look at the questions you have asked and answered in the past to know you are lying. Or maybe it's just a joke...just like Kerry was joking.

If you can't defend your position with the truth, it must be a pretty weak position.

He wasn't talking about Bush. Kerry is and has always been a real SEDH. Massachusetts must spawn a lot those people.

becuase it's fair play - you know the old saying - turn about is fair play. too often Pres BUsh will say something of which it's taken completely out of context - even though it's plain as the nose on ones face. this time it was kerry's turn to open his mouth and insert his foot. his touting of his military record makes me want to puke. real military men don't spew their kills, etc.

I'm glad to hear that. The right has been busy 'enhancing' what Kerry said so that a lot of people aren't reading the actual quote, making it sound worse than it is.

1) I doubt very much if you are a soldier.
2) It was obvious to anyone watching & listening that Kerry wasn't joking.

Most people understand perfectly. This is a cover-up for Rush Limbaugh who intentionally overstepped the bounds of decency in alleging the actor was faking his illness. At this stage of the campaign, it just gets nuts.
