You Got That Right My Friend.Inspite Of All This Experimentations What India Needs Is A Solid Agressive Leadership And Mentality.Rahul Dravid Is Like A Puppet In The Hand Of Greg Chappel & The Selectors. This Guy Is Very Non-Agressive,Afraid Of Controversies & Challenges.Sometimes I Doubt Does He Really Have A Personality? This Man Deserves To Be Sacked Out Of Captaincy. Thanks For Asking.

It never was experimentation. It was just a confused bunch of leadership that simply didn't know what to do.
It's going to get worse now. Earlier it was a assertive Greg vs. an easy convincible Dravid. Kiran More was in the sidelines simply because of nice monetary partnership deal he had with Greg. With Vengsarkar coming in, there will be more confusion all around.
Dravid's quitting captaincy isn't the solution. The solution is in Dravid pulling complete chapters out of Saurav's book. He has to be aggresive, rope in the vice-captain and manager -- and keep overuling any ridiculuous suggestion the coach, selector or even the board offers.
India reached the 2003 final simply because Saurav did what he wanted. Being friendly isn't going to get anywhere. Quitting capatincy isn't the solution. Dravid's got to assert himself - and if the coach is kicked out, nothing better.

If you are a keen TV viewer, you must
have heard more than 1000 viewers
opinion about captaincy etc.
Ther are more than 15 crore Cricket
lover in the country, who have different
opinion about how a cricketeer should
bat, ball or do captaincy on the field.
If we follow the expert? advice of Kapil,
Sourav, Madan Lal, Kirti Azad, Sunny,
Ashok Malhotra, VVS Laxman, Ravi
Shastri, Mohinder Amarnath, Azhar,
Gundappa Vishwanath, Tony Greig,
Geff Boycott, Wasim Akram, Krish,
and people like you, we need a team
of 200 players to play this game of
cricket.
Let the current players and the team,
( Whatever is selected), do the needful.
The selectors, captain and the coach
are independant to decide and let them
decide the future of the game.
Of the 14 playing nations, Indians like
you and me and some of the above,
will continue to utter our views. No other
country create so much fuss about who
is palying and who is not.
Even players like Beaven had to retire
qwithout any fuss in Australia.

While I do agree to your comments in general, I beg to differ with you as far as captaincy of concerned. Dravid has taken over as a Captain only recently and it is unfair to compare him with Ganguly mainly due to following reasons:
1) Ganguly has captained the team fof few years and has lead
the team in quite number of matches whereas Dravid has
just taken over. It will be only fair to compare his captaincy
with Ganguly only after Dravid has captained same number
of matches captained by Ganguly.
2) During Ganguly's captaincy some of the batsmen such as
Tendulkar, Shewag, Yuvaraj and Kaif were in peak form
whereas there is lot of decline in their form.
3) Ganguly had a better and experienced bowling attack to
his advantage as compared today.
4) Many matches were won by Ganguly not because of his
performance, but the brilliant performance of other
players such as Tendulkr, Dravid, Shewag, Yuvaraj etc.
Give Dravid some time and then evaluate him, which I feel
will be doing justice to him.

I totally agree with you Amit.Even i feel that dravid should be removed from the post of captain of India.Due to him the winning rate rate has also gone down.moreover he doesn't have a good batting average as a captain.

Yeah. Dravid shld quit captaincy n take rest 4m international cricket too 4 couple of months.. Coz Greg's foolish xperiment hav taken toll on him n his battin.. He has Broken the morale of young guns.. Raina was a nice batsmen bt continous change in his battin order has affected his battin, Pathan too can not find a perfecr balance btwn his battin n bolwin, Dhoni too has been affected by his unfixed position, Kaif too has been down on morale due to irregular place in d squad.. BRING SOURAV DADA BACK N THROW GREG OUT !!! HO HA INDIA .. AYA INDIA..

you are bein' NUTZ...whom do ya wanna be givin' the captaincy in the present team if not dravid??? think fr yrself u wont ever get an answer....
and 'bout experimentation....i BET "u" wud hv gone all praises for chappell uptil the end of england series in april....appreciatin' his mode to experiment and makin the team flexible....
stop acting foolish 'nd bein' so impulsive....
the TEAM is NOT playing to its POTENTIAL....and thats the only reason of our underperformance....and EVERY single player in the team has to be blamed for it...NOT just the captain or coach!
