At least you recognize the Republican congress is pretty crappy, in spite of your sarcasm, dishonest and uneducated assertions, and bias.
Bush hasn't overspent? How about that record deficit? How about record national debt, the worst in history, including both world wars?
Is taking back the exhorbitant tax cuts Bush gave to his wealthy contributors, and thus reducing the deficit, "raising" taxes? That's like saying a store raises prices every week after a sale.
Citizenship for illegal aliens? Isn't that EXACTLY what Bush is trying to do? YES, it IS! How else can he get all that cheap labor for his corporate buddies?
Ruin our efforts in Iraq? Can they be any more bungled?? Besides, our illustrious President has already Proclaimed "Mission Accomplished" in Iraq, so it's all over, isn't it? (Tell that to the brave Americans who are dying every day because of his "efforts" in Iraq.)
All they've done for six years is to criticize??!! That's all that Bush's rubber-stamp Republican controlled congress has let them do! They do follow the law and the rules, after all (not change them for their own convenience as this Republican congress has done repeatedly).
Republicans talking about Democrats not having a plan is just ridiculous. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! Like the Republican plan has worked so well in Iraq and after Katrina? I'd rather start over without a plan and create a new one than to "stay the course" on the road to disaster. Seems the only thing the Republicans can plan well by themselves is a coordinated mudslinging attack on anyone who opposes them.
This nation desperately needs Democrats to gain office, not because Republicans are bad, or because they are better politicians the Republicans, they certainly aren't. We need a Democratic congress to restore balance of power and reign in this megalomaniac President. Without that there is no telling how much further damage he can do to our nation.
God save America!

Hey, sparky...
Let's review what you said:
"That way they can:
-Over Spend
-Raise Taxes
-Give citizenship to millions of illegal aliens
-Ruin our efforts in Iraq (although I admit it's pretty botched at this point anyway)"
So here's a news flash: the Republicans have already beat the Democrats in doing those things you mentioned!!!!
Now, back to your question - "Should the Democrats win...".
I don't know.
"Should" they?
They might but they really need a damn good plan in order to get my vote.
Right now, I don't see too many signs of intelligence coming from either party.
They both have a boat-load of sh*theads running things.
And the policy-makers in D.C. are so focused on this money-pit called "Iraq" that they've forgotten that there are many Americans right here in the United States that would love to benefit from nation-building and democracy...and getting good health care, and a decent education and improved infrastructure.
Need I go on?
No single party has the answer.
And whomever is in control of the House or Senate, well, they never really seem to understand that.
I would like to see a BALANCE of power in the House...and if that means more Democrats, so be it.
I'd love to see a mix of Independent and maybe even some Green Party candidates win seats in the House.
The Republicans have jolly well corrupted the House with their antics (DeLay and Foley come to mind, for starters).
Do you really want more of the same from the party that is right now over-spending, raising taxes, letting millions of illegal immigrants run wild and ruining efforts in Iraq?
If so, then re-elect the Republicans!
Me, I'm voting for a change.
Even a baby knows when its diaper is full and in need of a change.

maximum politicians do no longer unquestionably have that plenty administration over a rustic. that's usually the those that have particularly tangilble administration. undesirable politicians do tend to become worse a rustic via luring human beings in detrimental guidelines. None of those issues you pronounced are genuine with a possibility exception of the stockmarket factor. Why do you're saying unemployment is low? you're a common stooge in this factor. What does the quantity of those that are qualifying for unemployment coverage would desire to do with particularly style of persons that desire paintings or greater desirable paintings? That statistic is a sleight of hand that unintelligent human beings continually fall for. gasoline at 2 money plus isn't low, that's rather no longer ridiculously intense to any extent further. 6 years in the past it became properly below a dollar. Has inflation matched? the certainty that costs of pastime are low impacts saving besides as loans. human beings do no longer desire to keep and foreign places investment is bypassing the U. S.. Inflation costs are actually not low. The inflation index isn't sensible. Housing, gasoline and utilities have skyrocketed. that's low for the wealthy with the aid of expenses of electronics, shuttle and luxuries however the detrimental are having greater difficulty than ever. minimum wages have not long previous up in checklist years.

We will be introduced to "imputed Income" Dem's may want to look that up...
an 8.5% tax on our take home pay
turn our foreign policy over to the United Nations
Sens. Ted Kennedy, Chuck Hagel, Lindsey Graham and Jim Webb made the supporting argument that the U.S. military's position in the Pentagon was no longer sustainable now that Democrats (and friends) controlled Congress. "We will cut their budgets, court marshal their officers and indict any congressman who opposes us. We will give them 30 days to vacate the Pentagon premises, after which it will be turned over to the ACLU, as their new world headquarters. With those fine facilities in ACLU hands, we can count on the full vindication of the civil rights of radical Islamist American-killing terrorists. To those poor innocent prisoners at GITMO, we say: "Help is on the way!"
$12-trillion-tax increase
Oh , this could continue for hours....

You really should check your facts first.
As far as the last 6 years. Republicans had all of the power and shot down every decision that democrats tried to make. It will be interesting to see democrats given the chance to do their work.

Has to be better than what we are dealing with. Rich getting richer, Poor getting poorer, Borders not secure, Ports being sold to foreign interests, constant sabre rattling, and a Congress that has done nothing in the last 6 years of any signifigance.

If they win control now they'll fnck things up so bad it will ensure a GOP presidency and majority in both houses come 2008. I almost hope they win this time around for that very reason.
