But my baby LOVES them! I just think they aren't very educational, but it's funny after she started watching them, she actually started talking more! ha!

Thanks to the Bozo for giving me parenting advice....haha. I guess he figured me out that I just let my baby watch TV all the time ! *shaking my head and laughing*

I didn't want my kid to watch them, only because of the baby talk and all. But she saw a few episodes anyway, and I do think they are good for tiny babies. The repetitiveness, the noises, the colours, patterns, and bunnies, are stimulating to little ones. I'd let her watch it if she likes it, but throw in a sesame street episode now and then too. And don't forget, mommy is a child's first teacher!
P.S. You haven't seen weird until you've seen the "Boo-Bahs". Now that show HAS to be written by people on Acid!!

I don't care too much for teletubbies either but my daughter now says BOO because of the tele's. She loves them and we watch them together and dance around when they play music and stuff. I try to incorporate the things they do into our daily activities. It's a lot of fun

Weird but fun. Babies shouldn't be watching much tv of any sort, but teletubbies is among the better shows aimed at that age.

YOU shouldn't think they're educational, but for ages 0-4 they provide a lot of information!

yes teletubbies are weird, but boobah's are even weirder... they look like uncircumsized penis's.. they don't even have mouths, they look scary to me, but my 9 mo old daughter loves them and the teletubbies... it's all the moving and the funny noises those things make....

I wouldn't let my kid watch them, there is 0 education, your kid is saying more because of his/her surroundings, definitely not teletubbies!

Luckily kids outgrow them quickly; no educational value at all.

they are boring and too much repetition but babys and toddlers usually like them for that reason.
