Camping Equipment: The company Coleman has a battery operated heater "PowrCat Heater". I have seen them at Target or go to any store that sells Camping gear.
You also should find the TV there. Or go to the Coleman website

OH, NO, Girl! You mean you've give up on getting the loan paid, etc.?! I told you to email me but haven't heard anything. They make a windup radio, which actually works pretty good; I don't know of a TV like that, though. The windup radios were about $50. when they came out, but didn't sell very well; last I saw them anywhere they were about $15. As for heating, kerosene heaters are probably the best bet; I can't imagine a battery-operated one that would work very well. Best wishes.

No electricity? What's with that?

I don't think a battery operated heater is practical. You'd spend tons of money on batteries. I'd recommend a kerosene heater instead.

Same for the TV....they make battery operated TVs, but they tend to tax batteries pretty hard. Having said that, you can find them in most "dime/dollar" stores along with "AutoZone/Pep Boys". Also, check the camping and/or automotive department of your local discount store.

I'm not sure that they make battery operated heaters or TV's, but I would try checking places like Home Depot, Lowe's, Wal-Mart, etc. Hang in there!
