OK, so I just got my car back from being painted. I have a black on black honda. I dont know what those jerkoffs got on my dash and console and gauges, but it looks like it was dusted with baby poweder. Gone is the black shine i feverishly armoralled everyweekend for 4 years to keep. My boyfriend seems to think its somekind of paint thinning compound. My question is, what can i buy, if anything, to fix it. Its so ugly now, they ruined it, im not even gonna get started on why i had to take it back 3 times and why they had it it a total of 4 months, but regarless, its NOT going back to them again, and i want my beautiful black interior back. Any body know what the white spattery splotchy stuff is and how i can make it go away?

can't really say without seeing it. if they got really
sloppy they may have gotten overspray from the primer/ paint process on your interior. as this would basically "melt" into your plastic there is nothing i know of to remove this. you might go to
a reputable detail shop and see if they may be able to help. sorry...good luck.

between the biggest factors in what might want to have befell is the exterior temperature. even if it really is chilly, like it really is the following in Iowa, a number of the fluid that you used might want to have led to a short, then iced over contained in the door, or the chilly climate might want to have in basic terms been the component. you're quite wide even as u say "lock" yet in case you recommend the exterior lock, this does not be the reason. in case you recommend interior lock buttons, next time you may want to take more effective care in cleansing those parts of the motorized vehicle. between the suitable techniques to dodge shorting out or detrimental your automobiles electric powered wiring is to spray the cleansing answer onto the towel or cloth, not the floor you attempt to sparkling. it is a good rule of thumb for any digital besides. in case your automobile is operating nicely right this moment, it became in all likelihood only a freak twist of destiny and that i does not challenge about it. If it maintains to act up, take it in on your close by restoration save, because it really is in all chance something somewhat more effective severe.

It's solvent, and you don't get it off. It's eaten into the plastic.
