last year i went through most of my candy and was left with only a few left over. This year i was ready and got alot to be prepaired for the masses. they didnt come. i got a bunch of little kids and a couple friends came to the door at 4-5 but then they stopped. my mom also said that when i left (she took over for me because i had plans and wanted to keep my house open so it wouldnt get egged) she got only 2 people. where did everybody go? was it the same way for you too?

Same with me! Our house got like 2 or 5 visits and that was it! There were no trick or treaters in my neighborhood. Yeah it was really nice here in NJ.

It got cold and windy here in Kansas late in the afternoon (which isn't anything new, believe me!), and - even though I'd put together a really scary outfit (it scared my little dog!), had five packages of really good candy, turned out all the lights so the electric pumpkin inside the picture window would look great, and turned on the porch light - not a single gremlin appeared. Not one! Next year I'll volunteer at one of the public gatherings - and take my candy there as well!

I only got about 10 this year...I think that parents are leaning more towards organized trick or treating efforts...like going to malls or something. At least you have a bunch of candy left for yourself!!!

Nope. In spite of rainy weather, we got between 65-70 kids.

mine was differnt it was a nice a cool night and we must have had hundreds of kids. but we bough way to much candy so we have a lot extra, we bough 21bags and went threw like 16-18 bags

We have a huge bowl of it left over...it's one of those years that you wish that you gave each kid who showed up a few handfuls of candy instead of one....

I had a total of zero children come to my house. I had jack-o-lanterns out on the porch and the light on......
