Yes. U can refinance the vehicle and get one of your names taken off of it with the new loan.

When my husband and I got our divorce, the way it was done was threw the court. We picked the vehicle that we wanted and the judge had the name removed off the title that was NOT going to get the vehicle. He was going to have each of us pay for our own vehicle but decided that my ex would pay for mine instead of child support until it was paid off and then after that he had to pay the child support. But everything was done by the judge. Hope this helps you out.

Yes, you can. However, if your spouse ends up with the vehicle - do yourself a favor and follow up on it. My ex-husband and I had it stated that he would get the car and have my name removed from the title. He told me he did when I asked. Well, I never checked on it and now - almost five years later, he asked me to sign the title to the car so he could sell or trade it!

Providing that both parties are in agreement and the one partner agrees to take over payments alone. Would probably have to renegotiate a new loan on vehicle.

sure they are able to, yet they ought to get courtroom permission to realize this. Any property that your call is on, whether you very own it with 15 people, could have a lien positioned against it. ..and which will end the sale except they are paid at final. Time to grant your ex-husband a decision. that's one hundred% a danger.

You can have your Property Settlement Agreement to reflect that and that agreement will be merged into your final decree for divorce.

You usually sell the car and split the proceeds. BUT, you CAN have one of you buy the other one out and change the title. Yes, it can be done.
