I have a 9 month old daughter. Well this is a little personal, but every since I had my baby I haven't had much of a sex drive... It's not that I don't find my husband attractive or anything, but I do every once in while put the first moves, but most of the time he makes me mad, b/c he gives me grief about it and hounds me about it.. We used to have sex all the time and had a great sex life and he throws that in my face.. Please give me some suggestions on why you think my sex drive is dissappearing!!!

I would take your husband to task for not being more understanding. But you should not do that. Rather, take pleasure in the fact that he finds you sexually attractive, and try to haul him off to bed now and again even if you don't feel like it as much as you used to.

It's VERY common with new mothers. You have had hormonal changes, and that plays a big role. Also, your baby is a big part of your life. During these times sexual desire may diminish. Lactating can drop the drive along with the hormones. On top of that would be the exhaustion of your new duties as a mom. This might put hubby on the back burner. You might consider finding ways to spice things up again. I am not going to go into detail about that, but be open minded about it. Talk it out with him and see what you both could come up with. This could rekindle what you had before the baby. Make it fun. Also, at least once per month go out on a date together. It's good for all of you. Good luck!

Go see your Dr., maybe your hormones are out of whack. If you are on birth control, have that changed or adjusted. Having a new baby is also very tiring, take that into count. Don't stress yourself about it, let it happen. Go on a date with your hubby, get a sitter, have some you and him time.

I've heard about this happening. You can search the web for some ideas/answers to the reasons why it's happening or ask your ob/gyn about it. Either way, it's serious and you need to get some expert advice, not opinions from here. Get off the internet and call your doctor, he or she may have some medications or natural prescriptions you can use to raise your libido.
