no you're fine. i didnt have that either...but then again i didnt even know i was 5 weeks :) this baby is my first too. but freaking out wont get you anywhere, you'll just cause yourself to stress out, and thats not good for baby. so calm down, read somethings online in your spare time, it'll help you get through it all. heres my favorite website, it helps. it has a week by week calendar, and a lot of other topics that may cause pregnant women to worry. take a look okay? be happy.

No this is not abnormal. Count yourself lucky. Not everybody has morning sickness and some not as bad as others. I'm 28 weeks and haven't had morning sickness what so ever. But I know other women who have morning sickness really bad. It just depends on the person and their body.

Relax and be thankful! I made it to 9.5 weeks w/ only the feeling, in the evenings after dinner, like man I wish I hadn't of eaten that.
Then from 10-13 weeks I constantly felt nauseated, but never to the point of throwing up. But I do know that if I hadn't of constantly nibbled I would have thrown up. Every ones symptoms and pregnancies may be different. Don't stress, you are normal and everything is going to be OK.
The "What to expect while expecting" book was very helpful for me. Though for some folks too much info is worse.

You're only 5 weeks pregnant. You haven't even begun to get symptoms yet. But if you are lucky, you wont have morning sickness at all. I'm due next month and I had really bad morning sickness all the way through the 6th month.

Dont be in too much of a hurry to get sick. Cuz once it starts its the most horrible thing. I started getting it with all 4 of my pregnancies at around 6 weeks. I am 19 weeks pregnant with my 4th right now and its just now ending a little. Its terrible and for some it lasts all day long. Hope you dont get it.

You are lucky
With my first child I had no discomforts at all. No nausea, no tender breast, nothing at all.
With my other two I only had a bit of nausea but no vomiting.
Just remember that their is no such thing as a normal pregnancy.
Everyone is different.
Good luck to you
By the way morning sickness can come at any time of day or night

Both of my sisters never got sick. Once in a while they might feel a slight hint of queesiness but that was it. Morning sickness only happens to about 50-60% of pregnant women. This is normal, so feel lucky!
