Is it wrong to have self pity over many people not being able to get your sense of humor?

Well, feeling sorry for yourself is not something healthy, and wouldn't recommend it.

The reasons that others dont understand your sense of humor may vary from culture, education, type of humor, or intellect level. Humor and irony are definitely a sign of intelligence. If other people don't understand your jokes, it might be because their intelligence level is lower than yours or because ... well, because your jokes are just bad.

You can pity people but self pity is to pity yourself. Having pity over people because they do not get your jokes is a little silly don't you think? Obviously they don't get the jokes or you're just not funny.

It is wrong to have self pity, self pity is self defeating you should think of it more like they don't get your jokes because they aren't intellectual enough...
