Yes I have. Back when I was in the Navy we would stand 12 hour watches. The day watch was not too bad. but a 12 hour night watch can be miserable. So we would take to each other all night long to keep each other alert and awake.

I remember one time when I pulled a 12 hour night watch and it wa just me and a young black woman. We talked about children, grand parents, soul food, religion, baseball, and I don't remember what else. We became very good friends and have stayed in touch even though that was over 20 years ago. And once I pulled a 12 hour night watch with a guy who was a very devout Mormon.We got to know each other very well and he and I also remain friends.

On the internet, no, on the phone, yes. My hubby and I used to talk for endless hours. I remember once talking until 4 a.m. when the conversation started around 8 p.m. the night before. Funny we don't do that since we've been married.

I talk for a living at work, so I'm not very inclined to do so at home. However, I have talked to my best friend for that long several times. We live in different states now & sometimes we get very chatty.

omg i think so...over the summer i met someone online but not like that, you know, just a buddy, we chatted from like 12am to 5am almost every night. good times good times.
