As with birds, it depends on the kind of bat. Some
of them are quite noisy in flight, the wings can be
heard from some distance. Others fly very
silently, although there may be some sound that
can be heard at very close range. Their voices
also vary quite a bit. The hunting calls they make
are usually too high pitched to be heard by humans, but they make other sounds which are
audible, and some of the tropical ones are quite
noisy, their voices having been described as
honking.

Don't really know the answer to your question, but look at it logically.
When birds wings flap down they actually "clap" together there by making the flapping sound.
To be honest, the only sound I have ever heard from bats was their sonic chirp, never heard the flap.

Their wings displace the air just as a bird. The sound is much more muffled and muted, but you often hear them go "eeeh" and it's not pretty if there's a bunch of them!
