a lot of schools in other countries only reach until the 11th grade, and the american system reaches til the 12th grade, right?

US high schools do reach the 12th grade, so I guess that might be true. I've never actually known anybody that had that happen to them though. Even internationally, you can find schools that go through 12th grade. There are a lot of US-accredited high schools in other countries.

Depends on the classes and the curriculum that you take in your previous schools. You can transfer your credits to the US school. Ask for a review of transferring credit of your previous classes taken to the US school
