Not a good choice for business unless you plan on becoming a wedding photographer, better for journalism. But if you use it for journalism you don't make a lot, work awful hours and it takes a long time for a person to move up to a staff position in a major paper. You would need to start out with a very low salary in a very small town more than likely.
The only other area I can suggest is the printing business, but the assignments are boring and you may not end up doing any photography at all.

Have you seen all the advertisements in flyers, brochures, magazines, etc which use photos? There are other places for commercial photography and art, too. It should be pretty good and you probably already know all this.
