Sometimes I get a funny smell that I just can't understand. My friend says her p****y always stinks but mine just smells like nothing after a shower and then later in the day, I get a urine smell. That's it. But now, my smell has changed to a faint sweet and yet sour like smell. This smell goes away for a week then comes back for a day or two. This only happens periodically but I was wondering if it normal. Maybe it is something I have eaten, but what? Any thoughts?

Vaginas have many glands and secrete different types of bacteria naturally. these bacteria are very acidic and protect the vagina from infections, and kill sperm. The secretions do have an odor, however it is not necessarily a foul smell, it's just a small odor. However, if you haven't showered in a long time, or have had sex, the vagina secreted a different smell. I know after sex the smell gets worse. It's all normal, unless you have other symtoms, or the smell is fishy. If it smell fishy than you could have a vaginal infection, and should go to the doctor.

does it itch or burn? if so it could be yeast infection. (try adding peroxide with water and splashing it down there several times a day, its natural and dosent hurt) If not it is probably just a secreation from your glands. Maybe you have a though and get turned on. When ever you notice it, be aware of whats going on. It could be yourself getting turned on and a lubrication is being produced

If it is not medical....Try feminine cleansing wash. It is sold near the tampons. Use it everyday externally daily and you will not have to worry about the smell.
