Fitler the sand. Boil water off from salt/water mixture and condense water vapors in another vessel. You are left with salt in pot.

add the water to the mixture and mix well, then allow it to settle. Since salt dissolves in water and sand doesnt, you are left with the sand on the bottom.

Transfer the water to something else and heat it, as it evaporates it will leave the salt behind.

This separates all three, but doesn't actually give you the water. To get technical (overly), you could set up a reflux condenser or something like that to collect the water in another container.

put the mixture into water.
The salt will dissolve, the sand will sink

Drain off the salt water solution. The sand is now separated at the bottom of the container.

Boil the water and collect the steam. Cool the steam to change it back to water.

The salt will now be separated on the bottom of the container that had the water boiled away.

The water will now be in it's own container (distilled water)

First heat it if necessary to dissolve all the salt. Then filter it to separate the saltwater solution from the sand. Then boil off the water and the salt is left. If you have to keep the water, boil it under a hood and it'll condense up there.

Assuming the salt will dissolve in the water, simply decant and filter the water off the sand, rinsing the sand off that is trapped in the filter using deionized water, then evaporate the water.
