Not all the time, but most people don't. In anger, the truth comes out on how you really feel about a person. If you think before you speak, then you try to put into words that are not so honest and try to think about the other persons feelings. Personally, I would rather just come out and say things, that way they are in the open, and there is no second guessing.

It is always better to engage your mind before you engage your mouth. What ever you want to say, run that through your mind real quick and just imagine how the other person is going to take what you say... If you have ever argued with someone that always seems to keep their composure and you don't, have you noticed that they always seem to come out on top? Control your words, so not say things to hurt or destroy, just calmly make your point and refuse to let anger rule.

I honestly don't get that mad.............You should always be careful and make sure the words that come out of your mouth are always sweet because you never know when you are going to have to eat them!.....
Never speak out of anger...better to stay quiet until you have had time to think about what you are saying. Makes you look smarter :-)

When my husband and I argue, I used to react out of emotions without thinking but now I am learning to be more rational and constructive when having a discussion. If I find myself getting real angry, I leave the room or the house for a few minutes to cool off and resume the discussion again when I'm level headed.

The results? Less argument.
