I got a Yamaha. & I know very well that the Disc brake is going to land me in the hospital. Why Do I still try to make it reach the red line?

Will you do this, if you get yourself a nice piece of road with medium traffic?

It is an adrenaline rush. I do the same thing in my minivan. You would be amazed at how fast a minivan can go. :O)
