i will admit this, and only admit this to see if this bias that i have is true... i will bet that those of you who have answered you vote straight democrat all live in the north, north east, West, or Southwest, exclusions might be such places of interest as New Mexico and others. Point and example of why i say this is the Tenesee race. You know, my blood still boils from the racial tone that race has taken. How about the "Bradley"effect? can i somehow get an interpretation for that? or, how about this? if we were to take the intelligence level of any southerner on purely random process basis, and compare it to a northerner, could it possibly show an inclination to one party or another? i am black and this always goes through my mind because i am still befuddled after these many years of civil rights, not a single state in the South supports DEMS in the presidential election: of course, there are exceptions. And then there's clinton, who -if he were allowed- could come back in shadow-people form and still get elected? i would like comments. Thank you

If that were true, there would never be a Republican President. I am a registered Democrat, and I usually vote Democrat, but I will vote for a Republican if the issues are there. (And I am white.)
Now, I wonder why you are so bigoted?

I'm a white man (57 yrs. old) and I vote for the person I believe will be best for the position. To the best I can remember, I voted for a Rep. president once. That was only because I couldn't make myself vote for Kerry. Profiling people doesn't display very good judgment. Does it ?

Of course that is false, and you know it. What interests and pleases me more is that the volunteer work force at the local Republican campaign headquarters comes from a broad spectrum of ethnic and religious backgrounds, including African-Americans. Most are happy to volunteer a religious preference and appear to be active in their churches and elsewhere in society.
What I see lots of at campaign headquarters are sportsmen and members of law-abiding gun-owners' groups. NRA members make up a little over 1% of the U.S. population, but 25% of the volunteers at Republican campaign headquarters are likely to be NRA members, again of all ethnic backgrounds.

That's ridiculous, and inaccurate.
Frankly, when you ask a question like that, you are literally fueling the other sides fire. Don't give them undo ammunition. Don't make our fight any harder than it has to be by giving them talking points like questions like this.
Im white, and a Dem.

Why do people who aren't white assume that all white people are exactly the same and do the same things?
