My drama teachers had much less of an impact on me that my other teachers. I'm guessing that people who found their drama teachers especially impactful would be those who either loved or hated the subject. Your "research paper" isn't getting off to a very academic start if this is how you plan to conduct your research!

Mine didn't, because she had her favorites. If you were not one of them, you were not important to her.

That being said, I think that there are good dramam teachers out there (it has been my pleasure to teach with a few). These teachers show concern for the students in their classses. And since it is a class that the student WANTS to be in, they have an edge over many other subject teachers. They give amny students attention they get nowhere else, and provide an outlet for emotions and stress they may be holding in. Plus, they get to be someone else, which is what many teenagers love to do, so that makes an even greater impact.

Just my opinion.....

Mine was fantastic..she said follow your heart, but listen to your head, and you'll go far..don't know how true that was..but she gave me the confidence that I needed to overcome alot!
She also stressed believing in your self, and when the going gets tough the tough get going. Try outs are just that Trying things out, not everything and everyone will be a match!
And she was probably the last teacher on earth who made us pray before call...after public school prayer was banished!

Because their lessons are usually the most interesting which captivates the child, and automatically wins attention. Also acting can be a good method of stress relief, to get lost in a character for a few hours and forget about your own worries.

they usually have the most dynamic personalities and a lot of passion. children and teens respond to this and usually will look forward to this kind of teaching style, creating a positive image of them in their minds.
