Different people.
Besides one is a country singer and ones a rock singer, and they were born a year apart in different parts of tyhe country. Any other proof you need?

Hate to break it to you but no, no, and no they are NOT the same person. Hank Williams The 3rd is Hank Jrs. son. Kid Rock is not. Kid Rock is just Hank Jrs. friend. Hope you are not dissapointed.

hank III is amazing. he has 2 bands hank 3 and his damn band and assjack. damn band are a country band. old style country, he does alot of his granddaddy's tunes. assjack is a heavy metal band. damn band are awesome though.
kid rock is just some jobber that thinks he's playing country.
