I took an HPT yesterday and The second line was almost invisible but I could still BARELY see it. I want to know if it's possible to see the line (let me emphasize it was almost invisible) But I could make it out. It wasn't quite pink, but it wasn't white either. Were my eyes playing tricks on me, is it possible to see the line and it not really be there? I should have had AF come day before yesterday.
Anyone else have the same experience, what was the outcome?

P.S. Yesterday was my B-day, so this would be an awsome B-day present!
Also, I read it within the 10 mins. between 3-5 mins.

I showed it to my husband, but I think he got the LH (ovulation) instructions and the HPT instructions mixed up. with LH, They are supposed to be both solid, definite. And he wouldn't let me explain...he's kind of stubborn. We both want another baby (we have 1) but the first time we just got pregnant, this time we are actually trying and I think It's started to get to us.

Yes my first one was so light I thought I was losing my mind and my husband thought it was false!! But I took one the next morning and it was quite clear and totally there. We're now 10 weeks preggo. But you know what they say, a line is a line is a line! I would say congrats to you! Take another one tomorrow morning as your hCG should double or nearly double making the test more responsive.
Happy Birthday too! We figured out our conception date with this baby was my husbands birthday.....and he thought I didn't get him anything! lol

the exact thing happened to me when I thought I was pregnant with my second daughter (didnt know I was preg when I took the test.) If there is even a TINY BIT of a line there, you are prob. preggers. Assume that you are, and then take another test in a day or two to be certain. My experience with home pregnancy tests is that if there is any sign of a line or a plus sign.........you better start getting ready for baby.

I believe that u r prego. Its possible for the test to lie to you or mess up. When I took my first pregnancy test, no lines at all came up. then on my second one, it said neg. then i started feeling sck, found out i was pregnant and took 9 more tests just to see if it was true. U may just want to wait a couple of days and then take another one. That barely there line could possibly mean that u r pregnant, so CONGRADULATIONS. I pray for the best for u.

Yes, I used a home test with both of my pregnancies and the lines were very faint. The instructions should tell you if you see a line no matter how faint to count it as positive. Congratulations and Happy Birthday!

My 2nd line was really faded... but I could still BARELY see it... test again in the morning with first urine of the day... use the First Response 1 line or 2... those worked best for me... I used 2 different kinds, and 6 tests total... lol I am defff pregnant, but I just couldn't believe it!

I would try in about a week. I had basically the same thing happen and a week later, the line was so bright after only a couple of seconds. Your hormones should be doubling every day or so, so in a week, it would be really strong. Good luck!

Retest. It is very unlikely...practically impossible to have a false positive. Just retest and let us know how it goes!
Also, I would get a test with two in it that way you can do one and if it looks even a little bit positive, you can test again. If it is negative, and you don't get a period, wait a week and take the second one.

The exact thing happened to me. You're pregnant! But to be sure, take another test in a few days or go ahead and have the Dr. test you because their tests are a little more sensitive.

you probably aren't just because you can see that line even before you pee on it if you look hard enough. i know, because i went through infertility treatments and i would stare so hard at those silly strips out of desperation and would manage to convince myself something was there when it wasn't. i would just repeat the test in a few days. the one time mine finally did change colors -- it was VERY obvious and there wasn't a question in my mind whether or not it was real. good luck!

sounds like you are pregnant! wait a few days and take another test. when i took my test the same thing happened and when i retested the line was a little darker, but still faint. now i'm 5 months pregnant. good luck!! :)
