Do a search online, but remember, sometimes whe it's spelled magic, it means stage magic, and when it's spelled magick, it's the occult kind.

I used to be into reading about occult stuff just because I found it interesting. The only thing I really learned from it is to be careful of the type of people you get involved with. I contacted a group of people that claimed to be occult masters (something I doubt) and they basically wouldn't leave me alone even after lost interest in the occult and told them I wasn't interested anymore.
Be especially careful of people wanting to sell you things; it's probably just a bunch of ripoffs.
Other than that, it is fun to read about, and most bookstores have an occult section.

The first thing I will tell you is... if you spell it with a 'c' as in 'magic', you are meaning trickery or illusions. If you spell it with a 'k' on the end as in 'Magick', you are meaning spells, incantations, Witchcraft and so on.
