sorry raj. i love india as much as u do but being realistic if they get even a 100 sachin tendulkars or rahul dravids they won't be able to win it. i feel pained to say that we indians just do not have in our genes to be winners in any field ( feeling very insulted) but can't help this is how we are and we should learn to live as it is.

First of all plyers should try to learn how to play according to the situation of the match. Secondly each player should play to his potential with dedication, committment and determination to win.
Bowlers should learn to bowl accurately with correct line and length and make the batsman to play all the balls. Fielders should be more atheletics in the field and make the batsman at the opposite side to earn every run and not give any easy run.
Once they adapt to these measures, India can aim to win the World Cup.

They are playing in west indies. They do have flat pitches. Irfan if considered as an all rounder , then 2 extra seemers, harbhajan and another batsman- spinbowler. Tendulkar - Sehwag opening. If lucky then Laxman as one down, if not then Kaif, followed by Dravid, Yuvraj and then Dhoni. Mongia or Raina have a battle for selection.
Always select to bat first. Power play first three taken consectively.

If we have 6 batsmen of Sachin caliber I am sorry to say that we will not be able to win wold cup because we can play better individually sport but not as a team

Sourav Ganguly, Anil Kumble should be included. Sourav's aggressive leadership (he maynt be a striking batsman now, but a better captain, i think worlds top2 high scorer) n kumble's xperienced spin may help us to win the world cup

1.sehwag
2.sachin
3.dhoni[wk]
4.yuvaraj sing
5.dravid[c]

7.kaif
8.agarkar
9.kumble

and they should play a consistent batting.they should be very positive . they should know what is a team effort.most important is patnership.and i wish them all the best.
