Alright..I'm asking on behalf of a friend of mine who cannot seem to get her daughters to get up and go to the bathroom. Both of them urinate all over themselves at night simply because they are too lazy to get up. Then come to find out, the 12 year old hasn't had a bath since October 6th, and she's starting to get these itchy red bumps. The mother had no idea that this was going on, because she works..The kids refuse to sleep with a pad underneath them so they won't stain the covers or anything..What advice could I give to the mother about her children? She's feeling completely hopeless at this point in time.

First they need to shower, then see a DR. then see a shrink. Lazy is not an excuse... it is discusting, unhealthy, and can it is most likley a mental problem. I don't know how this started, why it started, or when it started but it needs to stop!!!! Why is the mom letting them get away with this in the first place? How can these kids go to school covered in pee??? You must be making this up, if not I feel so sorry for that mom! Her house must stink so bad!! I don't feel sorry for those girls though, no matter what the problem is they are able to get up and go to the bathroom. So there is no way they should wetting the bed on purpose.

Your friend should really make them see a doctor or something, because wetting the bed and not bathing are really disgusting. I would not want to be around someone who has not showered in a little less than a month. I just hope those kids are using deodorent or something. Those kids need to see a doctor or something becaues that is completly unhygenic and they need to bathe regularly and learn to control themselves so that they don't urinate all over themselves when they go to bed. Good Luck!

At this age, the kids should see a doctor. If it's truly laziness that's causing this, it may embarass them enough to do something about it. However, it could be a medical problem. As for pads on the bed, and bathing, the mom needs to stand up to the kids. She's the parent. Tell them to do it. If the don't, punish them.

If the kids are 12 and 15, the mother doesn't need advise. She needs someone to call Child Protective Services on her. This is serious neglect.

she needs some help with these kids since she works, but if they continue to do this, the school will call. When kids come to school and have urine or bowel smells, they call home to find out whats going on. tell her to get help from doctor and she needs to put her foot down and say either u guys wash or ill spray u with the water hose. cause seriously girls have to keep their privates clean or they can become problems like yeast infections etc.

well, I'm 15, and ... I'm lazy, but not that lazy, I mean those girls are hurting their selves and there's not a normal reason 4 that, I mean they could b depressed or trying to call the attention. But something serious it's going on, I mean is not only one of them who's having that behavior so... It's something that's affecting both of them the best thing that she could do is talk to counselor or something like that.

I hope something good happen, good luck!!

I have seen this happen before, my aunts granddaughters are this lazy. If your friend really can't get them up to use the bathroom and bathe then she needs to have them speak with a doctor about this. This is disgusting! I'm fifteen, and I take a bath everyday! I can't imagine wetting myself instead of just getting up to pee. My mom would kill me if I peed all over myself and didn't bathe. She'd have me i there washing me herself! LOL!

The children could have bladder infections. Children that age don't know when something is wrong down there. Maybe they need more attention. Sometime you have to stand back and analysis the situation and not ignore it. Good luck

This dosen't seem to me as being pure laziness! IT seems that they need to see a doctor about what is going on! They might have an infection that needs to be taken care of... or they are dealing with something that they are having problems talking to there mom about. Tell her to take them to a doctor and see what he says! Hope this helped!
