This is copyright infringement and you can go to jail or be HEAVILY fined for this.

The government won't really interfere with you if you copy DVDs for your own personal use, but the moment you start handing them out for money you're asking for trouble. Regardless of whether you do this online or in real life, it is illegal. Save yourself the trouble and find a better way to make an extra buck.

i hate to state the obvious, but selling copied dvds aint legal ANYWHERE. just cos you want to do it online doesn't make it legal.

if you've never heard of copyright i can only assume you work on on a vcd stall in a chinese market?

It is only legal to make backup copies of movies for yourself (if you own the original). It's even illegal to copy a friend's movie.

If they are pirated, you are violating several dozen copyright rules. Check out the information on the Motion Picture Association of America's website if you're not sure:

As long as you sell the original along with it, and don't charge for the copy.

your allow to copy any media for yourself as a backup source, but if you start selling it, that becomes serious illegal activity
and can be some serious fines and time in jail
so i would forget about the idea.
