Hi
Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get test results back from a pap smear? Some say two days others say a week to ten days. Does anyone know if that includes the weekends?

Sorry, but there's no standard answer to your question--it depends on the lab--is it onsite or do they send out? How busy are they? You should call your doctor's office and ask them

In my experience it has been about 7-10 working days.

I used to have it every year .
Each time my doctor informed me that if within 2 weeks if I don't receive any phone call from him , this means that everything is ok.
So I presume that it can take about 7-10 days.

it all depends on your gyn. if they do the test in house will be 2 days, if they send it out to a lab could be 7-10 days. call your gyn office and ask them
