I'm after a song by 808 state VS................ someone.I cant remember who they versed?
Im pretty sure it was late 80's early ninteys.
Anybody know the name of the song?

Could have been a few tracks they did versus other folk:
MC Tunes VS 808 State "The Only Rhyme that Bites"
MC Tunes Vs 808 State "Tunes Splits the Atom"
(both 808's bleepy electronic style with a rather frantic, angry rapper on the top)
808 State vs UB40 "One in Ten" (fantastic reworking of the UB40 reggae song)

Hi there,
There was actually two 'vs' tracks. The first one was a full on noisy Techno track; 'The Only Rhyme That Bites' which was attributed to 808State vs. MC Tunes and was a hit in 1990. The second one was basically a remix of UB40's 'One in Ten', was billed as 808State vs UB40 and a hit in December 1992.

dont know about the versus thing, probably a kiss mastermix or summat, but the best tune in the whole world of dance has gotta be 808 state pacific state with the haunting sax, sends shivers still now when i hear out loud!!!!!!
