Girl... You give me hope! I have been trying for 3 years with NO LUCK. Dr's say that there is nothing wrong with either of us, but trying is so hard, we are at the pt where we are just giving up for a little while so we can get back to the point of wanting to have sex just for fun instead of trying all the time. Its hard to deal with emotionally so I know If i were you... Id be jumping for joy and screaming THANK YOU THANK YOU at the top of my lungs! good luck to you and CONGRATS!

Congratulations!!!! How wonderful.
I highly recommend reading the book "What to Expect When You are Expecting." I got my copy as soon as I found out, and it answers every possible question you could ask, and gives helpful tips and advice. It has little drawings of what the fetus looks like with each passing month, etc.
In the middle of the night last night, I had a sudden important question and turned on the light to look up the answer in that book. I found what I was looking for, and it made me feel much better.
PS I agree with the posters that you shouldn't share your news until 12 weeks to 14 weeks are up, in case of miscarriage. It would be devastating to have to go and tell everyone that you had a m/c. So stay hopeful but only share the news with your very closest people.

Congratulations!!! It took my husband and I over three years to get pregnant. IVF finally worked for us and I am 5 weeks along. We haven't told anybody yet. We decided to wait until I was six weeks along. It is so overwhelming. It's almost like I don't even believe it's true after so many many many months of negative tests.
I have been reading "What to Expect While You Are Expecting". It has been helpful with my diet, my morning sickness and other symptoms.
Again Congratulations!!!

First and Foremost...
Congratulations!!!!! :):):)
Every woman is different when they are pregnant, I am no expert but this is my 1st pregnancy, I am 20 weeks and my first trimester flew by because I was sleeping about 12 hours a day. No joke, I was EXHAUSTED! Now I have my energy back and am on my normal schedule. As far as morning sickness goes, I only had a coupla bouts with it, whereas my friend had morning sickness EVERY morning. She vomited so hard on the freeway one morning she burst a bloodvessel in her eye!
Good luck and once again congratulations!!

I would suggest purchasing "What to Expect When You're Expecting" or the Mayo Clinic's "Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy". They're great at explaining how your baby is developing, the changes in your body and the effect of those changes on your body and emotions. Best of luck and congratulations!

CONGRATS!!!!
Everyone is different so you might get morning sickness you might not, i never did (but i paid in the end with 36 hours of labor)
Just relax take care of yourself and enjoy the changes that are coming to your life.
Get yourself a copy of the book "What to expect when you are expecting" it gives you what should be happening to you during each month how large the baby probably is and so on, its a great resource

DONT BE TOO EXCITED dont tell to many people only close family and friends, I have been trying for 2 years and am now nine months pregnant, I got pregnant last year and told everyone we were so excited but i lost the baby early pregnancy, it hurt so bad i cant even tell you. CONGRATULATIONS and its great to be excited but wait till you are showing and get checked by your doc to let everyone in the world know. I am sure everything will be great with your pregnancy, try to stay moving around, if you dont you will hurt later. good luck!!!!

YAY!!! Congrats! Add me to yahoo messenger if you wanna talk about anything. I am 16.5 weeks pregnant with #1 myself. (daniellelucille)... Anywho, I had extreme tiredness and tender boobs along with hunger from weeks 4-6 then 6-13 I had nausea really badly... yesterday I felt the baby kick for the first time.
At your doc appt, they'll take blood for tests, and do a urine pregnancy test to confirm. They may also do a pap depending when your last one was and give you prenatal vitamins. CONGRATS!!!
