I used to experience from my boss trying to get his way all the time. He knew i would not turn down an assignment, when everybody else said no I would say yes. I always thought that the key to success was versatility and would take his abuse all time. The day came for my vacation ( I had booked a cruise with the family) and he told me I had no vacation days left. We had been slow and going home early one or two days a week for a couple of months and at the beginning of this slow down I told him I could not afford to stay for less than 40 hours. he said not to worry that he would take care of it. Oh boy did he! He was paying me my 40 hours using the vacation days that I had saved for three years. Well when I told him I had spent alot of money on this vacation and come 8am the next morning I was getting on the plane with or with vacation time he went ballistic!!! Screaming, cursing spit flying, veins popping!!! All I could was laugh and say " I have worked for you for 11 years and up to today you have never really showed me what an a***hole you really are!" Needless to say I went on the vacation and had no job when I got back. That was over two years ago and now I work for a better company, better pay and benefits; and oh yeah great boss!

Ok, so what is your point? This type of behavior is seen everywhere, not just the work place.

It is wrong.
