you probably wouldnt have questioned yourself if you were racist before the great invasion of immigrants to descent on our doorsteps, our anger should be at the government and not the immigrants, its the government that is taking the piss out of us, the immigrants are only accepting what is being offered to them and if it is an improvement on their normal life, who isnt going to accept!
its a very good question and i am sure will receive mixed views

Its a fine line between racism and speaking your mind, I dont want any more immigrants, as we cant house them all, cant teach them all, and cant fit any more into our hospitals. But you dont normally get time to explain your reasons for halting there ever growing numbers. Because the minute you say, "i dont want any more", every far far far lefty and do-gooder brands you a racist before you have finished your sentance.
Just imagine, what could be done with the billions of pounds that teach these visitors(that cant be racist) to take our jobs, and live in houses originally built for the british working class. The schools and hospitals could certainly do with a few more quid, thats for sure.
We must all now be in agreement, that when it comes to charity outside our own interests, we've done just about as much as we can do.
People who pose these questions are not usually racist, they are just realistic about how far the wealth of this country will go. And it cant go much further,, lets hope our mp's are looking through these pages and taking note.

Poles I have worked with ,must say they are hard workers, theyve been here for years theyve even flown some of the spit fires that sorted out the luftwaffe,Havent seen or heard.. if any ,much of any poles doing any crimes or killings muggings or rapes in britain,If I have missed any. then it is rare! ock aye lad indeed rare. But let it be known they love their mother land ..they help this economy..then they go back and help their families..
Ive been abroad to several countries always staying at the homes of those that used to live and work here.the ones i know at least have great respect for britain and i mean the people that they got on well with like ordinary joe me (just incase someone mentions the bloody iraq war again)
dont get me wrong I understand what you mean But the long view is when these countries catch up ,which they will ...it is every person and goverment of those nations perogative to fit in and be equal..
We will be wondering why we are buying Polish or Romanian Imports .We survive with services and trade.. brains too..Thats the Uk s natural resource 4 export .

We [our Government] signed the papers to enlarge the EU. We are now suffering the consequences. Other Countries in the EU have introduced restriction on immigration. Our Government are so ******* useless [at everything they do] they never gave it a thought. They expected about 30,000 Poles, when in fact the number is nearer 600,000.
These immigrants are working for minimum wage or below and are quite prepared to live 3 or 4 to a room in cheap Bed and Breakfast places.
All this does for the indigenous population is to hold down wages, but as long as business is making money the Government couldn"t care less.
I don"t blame the immigrants for trying to better themselves, but NOT at our ex pence.
This Government of ours has just about fucked up every area of society and this is just another one.
When will we get a set of Politicians that put the indigenous population First instead of all these foreigners.
I"ve just had a thought, why don"t we send them all to build a Church of England Cathedral in a Muslim country, with massive loud speakers to call everyone to Holy Communion, should be interesting.

why are they scum all they are doing is coming here legally to find a better life for them self and their family you can`t blame anyone for that the ones at fault are our government who in their wisdom thought they knew how many would come here . so unlike the rest of Europe they didn`t bother with restrictions .i know i`m not over bright but it seems obvious enough if they re being restricted elsewhere then they`ll come here but you shouldn`t take it out on them.

firstly many people in the country throw away there education, many British workers have a poor work ethic, they only care about doing as poor a job as they can get away with.
many eastern Europeans have a good work ethic and aim to do a good job. don't forget that when they work in this country they pay taxes, so why shouldn't the government train them.
if i thought the general level of service provided by works in this country wasn't so low i would probably agree with you.

we already pay for it for people in the uk, its called workbased learning and the New Deal scheme.
Id rather pay this money to the Romanians and Poles who actually want to work over here and take it away from the lazy, special brew drinking chavs who litter our streets and have no interest in ever finding work.

Well, it seems the "scum" is welcome - works hard, takes up jobs you wouldn't, pays taxes and social security, does not have the right to social assistance, so why not?
Plus the "scum" might as well be paying the pensions of your retired people already.
