Last time I got mine done in London it cost about £25...2 years ago now...So I would say take that as an average now.make sure you get the certificate to say it has been done from the sweep. It was a really clean job and didn't take long at all.

I just called around to get estimates on that myself. At the low end, $150 and at the high $250. What I found interesting is that the guy at the lowest end actually offerred the most service. Plus, he was licensed, bonded, had insurance & worker's compensation and did all of the work himself. Too bad I didn't go to the Home and Garden show this past weekend. He said he had discount cupons at his booth, but he'd still give me the $10 off!

It depends of a lot of factors. In my area they charge between $100 to $150, but you can sometimes find a discount coupon in the local paper or coupons that end up in your mailbox

Any where from $100-$200. Also, check with your local fire department, some offer the service for free.

Our last one done (3 years ago) was about £40.00.
I bet it depends upon how large your chimney is though.
