I need to write a paper on a technology invented/developed in Philadelphia like Baldwin Locomotive Works, or water works for my history of technology paper. I am so confused, and 'googled' for it, but I can't find anything. It can be invented by one and can be anything, as long as it has some connection to Philadelphia. Just a topic would be great? Please, I am desperate !!!
