That info is in the MLS. Now if you don't have asses to one.....better make friends with a Realtor.

Drew is right, if you decide to ask a Realtor for assistance on this, it will take a little time to prepare, but make sure that you explain to the Realtor that you want the full marketing time for the home. I've seen homes listed under 5 or 6 different MLS numbers, and each new MLS number has a new count of days on market.....so unless the Realtor really does their homework correctly, you could be given inaccurate information, making it appear to be less than what reality is. Ask them to look not just for expired listings, but also cancelled or withdrawn as well.

Good Luck...if you're in the Cincinnati area, drop me a line, be happy to help out.

It is on the MLS but they play the game of re listing all the time to keep this number down.
Do you realy think a house sold in one day?? That deal was in the making for several days or week but only listed after the deal was made. Heck till just a few months ago they would need even list of the MLS to short the market and there are many so called MLS's This is how they made the bubble. Check out this web site.

The MLS yes, but also see attached link for a blog ring on current real estate. There are bloggers from all over the country reporting in on conditions in their area, so you may be able to ask one of them or see it in your area on one of the blog sites.
