Of course they are a rip off... Only a few people actually make cash over a period of time....

It is cheap TV, cost little in reality to make and host, and there are always desperate people out there who will spend a fortune in cash they don't have in the hope of winning a few hundred pounds. The quiz programs rake it in every hour so is it any wonder they are everywhere.

Q/ Who said, "My name is Forest Gump"?

1/ Madonna
2/ Sir Paul McCartney
3/ Forest Gump

That's how simple some TV quiz questions are and cretins think they are going to be the only one to phone in with the right answer........ D'oh

My main gripe is the TV makeover programs. Pile of c*ap... 3 days to rejuvinate a house or put up it's value by 10K. Then asking you to ring in to get your house repaired by them.... people phone in by their thousands at a couple of pound a call... it's a licence to print money innit !!

i see a news story in paper about a woman who won £100,000 over a year playing tv quizes. but it cost her £10,000 for telephone bill, and for the paper to do a story is quite irresponsible, as others may look into playing and get ripped off.

i agree. they are becoming an overkill. why does sky think we need so many channels, which contain nothing but crap? besides, all of those quizshow channels are totally naff anyway. though the home shopping ones deserve to get slated as well.

If the mugs stopped phoning in, they would cease to exist asap.
