glazing panels french doors?

Question

French doors fitted three weeks ago, glass panels, made by pilkington glass which i know have a slight tint to protect furnishings etc:, but should there be a clear border all way around about an inch company taking time to get back to me already had the units changed once, but i'm still not happy.

I've never heard of a tint or a border on french door panels. I do know that by law they have to be made of toughened glass in case you fall through them but mine are all clear as far as I know - I'd call them again.
