Alright Brendan, here's what you wanted to hear and the best answer. I voted for Bush the first time. I voted for him again in 2004. I feel more duped than embarassed but they are both in my feelings and I don't like it at all. I was lied to about WMD and I bought it. It wasn't a mistake, it wasn't for the good of the country, it was a freaking LIE. I have no idea how many other lies I have bought into from this administration but I do know that I will not be fooled by them again. Now I automatically attach the BIG FAT LIE sticker to EVERYTHING that comes out of the White House. I will not be voting for ANY Repubs this year, so they can thank W for the loss of my vote.

The facts are as pointed out by other answers are that:
1. People do need to get out and vote for this countrys' future. there's no sense of urgency, were just sitting by the wayside waiting for the next game console to come out and burning one with our friends. Even people in their late 30's which is scary. where in the hell is this country going to be 5, 10, 15 years from now?
2.the only thing I see at all that George Bush has is moral and religious integrity plus a determination to stop something that probably is out of reach, even with unsurmountable forces. Homeland security is one thing but this War is very political and similar to the Vietnam fiasco.
3. The division between parties and the bashing of candidates is just childish. Just imagine if the country pulled together for 1 week and put all the energy into resolving these big problems and issues together instead of how big they can suck each other off.
4. We desperately need to move into alternative energies such as solar, wind, and hydrogen. I feel the government has a strangle hold on this policy as well and we people in there who can really get this thing going!
The moral of the story is individuals need to take action and not just sit back and wait for somebody else to change the country. that will never happen in my generation (genx by the way) or generations to come if we the people don't act.

Neither of the above, i feel bush is doing a far better job than Kerry would have and as for duped to what are you referring his supposed lies? let me see if i can shed some light on that!
He receives faulty intelligence #1 and is fed 1/2 the information on the other hand well what does that tell you! he gave us the information that he was given "i don't see the lie in that! You libs are so full of your selves" the only thing that Hillery will do when she gets in office is kill all of us starting with her own party "there is no party loyalty in the liberal camp they feed on there own thank you very much"!
Who is the one who is duped? Do you believe everything you hear about the democratic liberals? They just throw up smoke screens to make it look like they care when in reality it is father from the truth! "it is a well known fact that all the liberals are are a bunch of appeasers they enemy will start with them when he come to kill infidels and i hope i am a fly on the wall to see that!... good luck

oneharrycat and you are a lil confused... it's okay, it happens from smoking so much pot... An ignorant comment would be calling the military uneducated as the elitist yuppy Kerry did.
98% of military recruits are high school graduates compared to only 72% of Americans.
Once in the military, all members are constantly being trained and educated in their career field in addition to their opportunities for college degrees. Not to mention the officer corps who all have at least 1 college degree and many have masters and doctorates...

No, because in 2004 it was either Bush or Kerry. Imagine what a mess things would be in if Kerry had won ! Bush is relatively harmless in comparison and he has gotten us in a real mess.

I voted Bush in 2004 because I was appalled at John Kerry. It looks like I was as right then as I am now..

I voted for Bush in 2004, but not in 2000.
If I had it to do over again, I would have voted for him both times.
Honest.
Do I get the ten points?

The only embarassment I feel is that you've been duped by the Democratic Party. Their only policy is attaining/maintaining power at all costs.
