Where is Jason Gillespie?

I mean....what has happened that Australia don't take him anymore..

Jason Gillespie is currently playing for South Australia. In a match a couple of days ago against Victoria, he could just pick up one wicket in two innings. South Australia lost the 4-day match.

He definitely is struggling with his bowling.

Gillespie, however himself has urged the selectors to pick a young fast bowler - either Tait or Johnson for the first Ashes test at the Gabba. He himself isn't certain that he would be picked for the first test.

Interestingly, Gillespie would not find a place in the team after he scored a double century in his last test. (Vs. Bangladesh, Chittagong, April 2006). I don't recall any instance of a player being dropped after scoring a double century. Maybe that would be a first.

Or maybe pick him into the team as a specialist batsman or a specialist nightwatchman.

However, Jason Gillespie will lead the Australian Prime Minister's XI team in England's opening Ashes tour match in Canberra on November 10.

Jason Gillespie does not fit into the scheme of things for One Day Internationals as far as Australian selectors are considered. However, he can be seen in action in he Test Matches very soon.

he's not good enough to make the side but i wouldn't mind betting he would make any other pace bowling attack anywhere else in the world.
