If you're married with kids, do you want a friend that calls daily, weekly, monthly? How often do you get together? Do you still have a best friend?

I still have a best friend and I am 33. We met while doing PTA at school when our kids were younger. We talk if not every day then every other day. We are also in a couples poker group together with our spouses and our other "best" friends. We jump from house to house once a month for this. Sometimes we go shopping....our families go on a mini vacation together in the summers..... sometimes just the adults take a weekend.... we go to football games together......our kids all get along great and stick together. I'd be lost without them!!!! (And I even have a big extended family on top of this - love this life!)

Being married should have no bearing on outside friendships. I talk to my best friend every other day and we get together a few times a month. Sadly..many women lose themselves once they get married or are in a relationship.

call weekly, email a little more than that.... get together once a month at least (if kids are little)

I have a few close friends and we get along great. if you see each other every day or close to it, then it gets old.

I still have a few very close friends. One I talk to at least twice a week and through email. The other two I talk to about every other week.
