Hon, seriously, it's because what he says doesn't matter in the slightest. If it's an issue, the voters will take care of it. Nearly every politician out there is a power-hungry, money-grubbing jerk. If you don't like it, do us a favor and refrain from adding to the problem by running for office yourself.

Kerry canceled his campaign tour for the same reason Bush can only campaign in Texas and Georgia. That's politics. You help when you can and stay away when people don't want you there.
So far I think Bush's second attempt to "swift boat" Kerry has fired Democrats up more than it has quieted them.

All of Kerry's speaking engagements have been cancelled. The DNC is not very happy with him right now either....

I don't even want them in the country. Kerry the Coward was just lucky his ineptitufe didn't get men killed in VietNa. Read "Unfit for Command." Kerry is JERK and a Kennedy wanna be. The only difference between him and a Kennedy is he hasn't killed anyone, yet.

Just correcting SpirtWalker: Kerry has killed at least one person in his life. He shot and killed at least one member of the Viet Cong in 1969.
