There's a human being under construction. that takes a good deal of energy away from the mom. Isn't it a wonderful thought? ;o)

its soooo not just the first part of pregnancy..lol. Its ALL of pregnancy!!! Its just due to hormones and your body working so hard to keep two people alive. Some say that you get a little relief the second trimester but I didnt and now that I am past due all I ever am is exhausted. Its just a part of being pregnant.

I have often wondered this myself because not much seems to be happening yet. The changes in you body are very intense however. The hormones change dramatically and your entire body (just about) prepares for pregnancy and childbirth. Your uterus and breasts change and enlarge. Your blood volume goes up and your joints will eventually loosen. all sorts of other things change that I don't remember right now (including your memory sometimes!)

All of the changes that are happening to your body at one time. Hormonal changes, your body is preparing to carry the baby, ect.

All the energy produced by your intake of food is going to the growing fetus.

excess hormones that are trying to make sure your baby survives. also, eventually, alot of your nutrients are being diverted. consider yourself lucky though, so many women want to be in your situation.

lots of energy is needed to the fetus growing.then our body needs lot of protein rich foods,veg,fruits,etc.
