it doesn't happen very often to me but i know what you mean...i don't know what it is but in the most tense situations i tend to laugh or think of something really funny. it upsets some to hear this and they think i am being mean but i'm not its just my reaction to tense or dangerous situations. i've always thought if i were mugged i'd probably start laughing so hard it would scare the guy into thinking i was completely nuts so he's leave me alone...guess its some kind of weird defense mechanism.
